May Happenings

It's been so awesome to be able to come to family get-togethers now that we are closer. May was full of hanging out with family and last minute visits to Moab which we welcomed!

Grandpa, Mom, and sisters. 3 generations
I love this kid! When I tell people we adopted him, they don't believe us because they think he looks just like us.  I'm starting to see it more and I kind of love it :)
Swimming is tiring!

Grayson's cousins just love him! He's just getting to the age where he can really play with them too
Impromptu sprinkler play... because i just can't deny how happy it makes him.

Fishies!

I may have snapped this right before our bedtime prayers. I love how he folds his arms and mumbles prayers with us :)

Birth Mothers Day is celebrate just before Mothers Day, which totally makes sense to me. I wouldn't be a mother without her! On the right is my sister and her beautiful little girl that she placed. Adoption is LOVE!

Suckers all around!
Fly high little guy! This one will be going straight into a frame.
Bella is SO patient! I have loved watching their relationship grow as Gray gets older.
This is how our Sunday went today! We went into survival mode at church, but enjoyed the nice weather after some needed naps.

Look at that big boy! I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is SO independent these days.
Morning Glory bridge with some of our favs :)

"Now, where's my pina coloda?"
We love having dad home from work
Did I mention how much Grayson LOVES sprinklers?!
Headed to the babysitters so mom and dad could have a date night.
Cool kids on the block right here!

April

April was pretty eventful for us- lots of changes. To make a story short, we are moving back to the Salt Lake area! This has always been a goal of ours with both our families being there. We found a place to build and are excited to get things started already! No, we don't have jobs up north yet.  Are we crazy? Yes. But, we know things will work out and it's the best time for us. Oh, and I graduated with my BSN! I have so many good things to say about WGU- so glad I found that school and was able to plow through the classes. I will be walking later this summer for proof of graduation ;) Here are some pics from April:
First egg hunt was a hit! We are going to miss our great neighbors & friends... I'm trying not to think about leaving :(
How we play the car waiting game...
It was our FIVE year anniversary this April!
Our niece, Sara, was baptized! So glad we could share her special day with her.
I just love this picture of my boys.
Building a new is exciting... and stressful! So many options! It wasn't Grayson's kind of fun either, but he was a trooper.
Trying to take advantage of living in this beautiful place!
Grayson LOVES playing with friends. He was so excited to show off his basketball hoop

They were so cute playing together!

I have to laugh at this pic! Grayson is obsessed with helmets and bikes. Don't leave yours unattended at the park or he will claim it!
This boy and those boots!

Sundays in the mothers lounge. He seriously is the cutest boy at church.
Such a boy! Grayson loves dirt and rocks!

February/March

So I started the RN-BSN (Bachelors program) in January which means it's been taking up a lot of my time! It's a self-paced program so I can go at my own speed which is nice.  I've been working really hard to finish it quickly and it looks like I may be graduating this summer which is awesome! I've never been so thankful for nap times and I've been lucky to have so much help and support from Matt. Could NOT do it without him!  I sometimes wish they could give my husband the same degree because he works almost as hard and probably knows the material too! Anyway, here's a bunch of random pics from the last couple months...

RootsTech Conference in Salt Lake with my parents. It was pretty awesome to be part of the largest geneology gathering where everyone was interested in the same thing! We learned a ton of new tricks and helpful hints to continue filling in our family tree. So exciting!

The only pic i got of me.. I really did have a great time, haha.

Visiting dad at work
Trouble!

Had to try out all the instruments at the docs office
Waiting for the doc...
The next big thing!
Gray LOVES wearing hats and usually puts them on sideways. I just love him.

Poor kid tripped and hit the corner of our dresser... This turned into a good shiner. But didn't seem to bother him after the initial hit. Trust me, Matt made up a lot of stories for this one!
This kid loves slides!

Fun with cousins and kisses for the baby chicks!

St. Pattys day picture in the helicopter.  Grayson loves to sit in the drivers seat :)

Hats, helmets... he loves them all!

HAPPY 33rd B-DAY TO THE BEST DAD & HUSBAND AROUND!

MARCH 19

Ridin' in style after a birthday dinner at Sunset Grill
Love this time of year with all the blossoms! Yes, Grayson is about ready to jump out. haha
What a stud!

Maybe we should have Grayson explain this one? Pretty sure Bella would like an explanation too.
Sunday before Easter... at my cousins baby blessing.

Obsessed with balls lately! And check out those plaid-suspendered cousins!
Walking down Legacy parkway in Centerville
Grayson steals every chance to have a turn on my laptop, haha
