August

 August has come and gone.  Our house is getting so close! It's been fun watching it go up and I'm crossing my fingers we picked good options, haha. I feel like it's a surprise at this point since I can't remember half the things we chose. But its looking great and we are getting closer!

Every morning after breakfast, we walk over to see the trains and let Bella run wild.  Grayson loves the "choo-choo"!

Day at the Zoo:

Gray's first time at the zoo was a hit! He ran around like a crazy guy, saying "hello" to everyone and asking all the kids "did you see it?!" Needless to say, I left buying a year pass :)

Grayson loves the dinosaurs at the zoo- he RAWRS back at them and tries hard to be brave, haha

My fav is always the polar bears. I love that they still have the same lion drinking fountain that i drank out of as a kid!

Spent the day at the Homestead with family!

Matt Townsend Date Night with Matt's parents, mine, and my sisters (plus husbands). Can't beat a free date night that offers free Cold Stone and lots of laughs!

Some other exciting news... I officially graduated with my BSN! I was debating whether to walk since I had finished my classes a few months ago, but I'm so glad I did.  All that hard work, time and stress really felt like it paid off.  It was a great ceremony and reminded me that I can do anything! A small part of me thinks I will eventually go back for more one day.. shhh! don't tell Matt ;)

I had the best cheerleaders- so thankful for all their support! 

I love this pic. Grayson LOVES helicopters (go figure) and especially loves remote helicopters.  I've never seen him so happy when he has the controls :) Love these two.

Happy July! This month was packed full of family, parades, and sweet treats. Just the way we like it! :)

Fourth of July Parade! Grayson couldn't help but run after the ponies and horsies... We left worn out and with popsicle stains on our shirts

House update:

Our house is coming along! Yes, we are aware that our neighbors are that close!

I think I'll get used to our living room view real fast :)

They are moving along so quick- now this is the fun part!! Just sitting back and watching it go up.

Thanksgiving Point with family- Grayson LOVED riding the pony and would swat my hand away when i tried to spot him. So funny. He's my growing, independent boy!

 24th of July Parade! I've REALLY missed living in Utah for this reason. No one seems to care about the 24th in Alaska or Nevada, haha. We had fun at the parade and carnival- it's always fun taking Grayson to some of his firsts.

The fam. We ate our way through the carnival with pineapple smoothies (my fav) and tiger paws (scones covered in cinnamon & sugar.  Grayson tried to take the stage with his dance moves... I think its cute, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one!

Movies with the crazy Hunt cousins! 

Ya... this only lasted during the previews! During the actual movie, we were running the halls doing somersaults. I'd say we are quite old enough for the big theaters, but we tried!

Sometimes I secretly love when Grayson gets jealous and wants HIS mommy.  His cousin Lacey is on the right- we had fun playing kickball, water games, and hanging out on Granny's porch.

Wish this picture wasn't blurry- Jordan's graduation! So glad we could be there!

Went to see Jordan (Gray's birth mom) graduate high school in Las Vegas. We had so much fun while we were there! I love watching them together- it just makes me smile watching them play together :)

We got to visit Gray's birth dad's family too! This is a pic of his birth-grandpa and his son. So fun seeing the similarities! They are always so good to us.

It was a happy birthday for me this year! We had a BBQ with our friends- it was a great way to see them before we left for Salt Lake. 

This is HEAVEN for Grayson! 

We had more visitors (my sisters cute family) just before we left and I ordered myself a Reeses Cheesecake. Oh. My. Heck. So good!!
