Our letter

Hello!

We haven't met you yet, but we feel like we already have one thing in common and that is the desire to give a child a stable, loving home, with opportunities to grow and live to their fullest potential.  Exploring adoption takes a lot of courage and love. My sister was once in your shoes and made that courageous decision of giving her baby more than she could offer at the time. It has been such a blessing to be able to watch her grow through pictures and the occasional visits.  She is so happy and that makes all of us happy.

Grayson came to us almost two years ago through the miracle of adoption.  Looking back, we can’t believe that we even had to think about the adoption because it has turned into such a huge blessing.  We have an open adoption with his birth families and we love them like family... because they are!  We keep in contact through text, pictures, and visits.  I love that Grayson won’t ever wonder where he came from.  He will always know that he was NOT “given up”, but rather given more because he was (and is) so very loved! 

Our commitment includes making our home a safe, happy, and loving place.  Also, to find an openness of communication that works for everyone.  We have witnessed how adoption can bless lives on each side and we look forward to getting to know you better!
